OnePlus 5 is now available in Bangladesh

There is no doubt that OnePlus 5 is one of the most sought after phones right now. It went official in last month on the global stage with the support of 34 network bands. The OnePlus 5 is the company’s thinnest flagship measuring just 7.25mm. With the OnePlus 5, the upgrades run across the design as well as the specifications department. And it’s a flagship with an eye for photography, featuring two cameras on the back. It boasts a “tailor-made” 16MP sensor, which excels at low-light photography with a bright f/1.7 aperture. The additional 20MP sensor is behind a telephoto lens. It enables Portrait mode, which creates a blurred background bokeh while keeping faces sharp. This sensor also helps speed up autofocus by up to 40%.

The OnePlus 5 has a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, Bluetooth 5.0, 3300mAh battery with DASH charging, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat with OxygenOS. Like the OnePlus 3T, the fingerprint sensor on the OnePlus 5 is quick to authenticate. The sensor is flanked by backlit capacitive buttons, and you can change the orientation of the home and overflow buttons based on your preferences. The power button is on the right and the volume rocker on the left, and both offer decent tactile feedback. The USC-C charging port is located at the bottom, and is flanked by the single speaker on the left and the 3.5mm jack on the right. There's no microSD slot, but you can fit two SIM cards in the phone.

The OnePlus 5 is now available in Bangladesh in two variants – 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage. The price of both the variants is at 45,000 taka and 52,500 taka respectively. The smartphone is available in many stores around Dhaka city.
