Intel unveils Core i9-7900X processor in Bangladesh for 82,000 taka

With the introduction of AMD's Ryzen and Threadripper processors, the market and channel has been turned upside down. It gave Intel a serious awakening call and as such, they needed to step up, significantly. Intel did that in the last May with the announcement of Core X Series, based on the Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X micro-architectures.Intel is claiming that these chips are the company’s “Most Powerful, Most Scalable” desktop processors to date, which seems fitting since they scale from a quad-core part with only 16 PCI Express lanes all the way on up to a monster 18-core chip with an expected 44 lanes. While the trademark of the series is surely the unveiling of Core i9 processors. This forms the very top end of Intel's X-series of procesors, which was previously topped by a load of different Core i7s. There are 5 processors in the series right now and the baseline one, i9-7900X is now available in Bangladesh. Binary Logic brings the processor in the country and asks 82,000 taka for it, which is quite similar to it's international pricing of 999 USD.

At the same time, several X299 platform motherboards are also released to support both Core-X series families. Among the models, Gigabyte's X299 Aorus Gaming 7, X299 Aorus Gaming 3 and X299 UD4 are worth mentioning.
