Gigabyte launches powerful mini-ITX board for Ryzen - AB350N-Gaming WIFI

As the days passing, more and more motherboards are released with Ryzen support in different form factors. Gigabyte is now joining the small form factor Ryzen motherboard market with its new GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI. The new Mini ITX motherboard sports AMD’s AM4 socket and B350 chipset and supports Ryzen “Summit Ridge” CPUs, Bristol Ridge APUs (7th Gen/Excavator), and future Zen-based Raven Ridge APUs. Besides built-in Smart-Fan 5, Hybrid Fan Pin Header, RGB fusion and server-class components, AB350N-Gaming WIFI motherboards have been designed to support Wraith Max CPU coolers. This is a much larger, higher performance version of the traditional stock cooler but due to its increased size, Mini-ITX motherboard makers have had to rethink their layout slightly.

The board features a 6-phase VRM design and offers 4 SATA 6Gbps connections and a single 32 Gbps M.2 slot on the rear of the motherboard. he innovative one piece stainless steel shielding design from GIGABYTE reinforces the PCIe connectors providing the extra strength required to support heavy graphic cards. This motherboard design will give our customers the option to build high performance PCs in very small gaming cases.

The GA-AB350N Gaming WiFi will sport four USB 3.0 ports on the rear IO alongside dual USB 3.1 ports, with HDMI and DisplayPort outputs which will be usable with AM4 APUs. Other features include fourth generation digital PWM controllers, third gen PowIRstage controllers, and digital IR controllers. Connectivity is via built-in Realtek gBe LAN, and an onboard 802.11ac WiFi module, which also supports Bluetooth 4.2.

Gigabyte has not released the pricing or availability information about this motherboard, though we can expect to see this board hit store shelves relatively soon.
