Samsung going to launch new set of Quantum Dot curved gaming monitor at IFA 2016

Samsung is seriously getting into gaming with a pair of curve monitors designed to keep up with competitive multiplayer. Samsung today confirmed that it’s going to introduce new Quantum Dot gaming monitors – the CFG70 in 24- and 27-inch as well as the CF791 in 34-inch
    – both monitors promise to deliver silky smooth full HD gaming with 1ms response time along with brilliant colors across a 125-percent sRBG spectrum. A Samsung rep also explained how the monitor is programmed to refresh the picture by dividing up the display into quarters, whereas most gaming monitors refresh globally. This luminance brings up a variety of game details that are otherwise hidden in both dark and light settings.

The visual power of quantum dot technology found in Samsung’s award-winning, industry-leading UHD televisions is now integrated into the CFG70 and CF791 monitors. By incorporating quantum dot technology, the monitors display a wide range of vivid and crisp colors, while requiring less energy to do so.
