ADATA unveils durable UD320 USB OTG flash drive

ADATA Technology has announced the release of the DashDrive Durable UD320 USB Flash drive, the company's first implementation of the USB On-The-Go (OTG) specification. USB On-The-Go, OTG for short, is a specification that allows devices to act as a host, and USB flash drives to directly transfer data to them and others. ADATA has just released the first flash drive with this capability.

ADATA's new flash drive is called DashDrive Durable UD320 and can plug right into the port of mobile devices loaded with Android 4.1 or higher. That means it has both a micro USB port and a standard USB connector. One is located at one end, the other at the other end. Both connectors are hidden and protected by caps when not in use.
The UD320 incorporates many design features that improve its appearance and convenience of use. Small and light, with gleaming jewel-like end caps, the UD320 also has a strap hole for improved portability and convenience. Additionally, purchasers of this latest addition to the popular DashDrive Durable family will be eligible for a free download of ADATA's proprietary UFDtoGO software, an indispensible tool for maintaining and updating personal data when on the road.

The black new flash drive comes in 16 GB and 32 GB, priced $17 and $26 respectively. Both the models are available in Amazon right now.
