    Radeon 8000 series GPU coming this year

    Just before the CES starting AMD announced their latest Radeon 8000 series of desktop and mobile graphics. Based on AMD Graphics Core Next architecture, all the cards are built using 28-nanometer manufacturing process. All of these have latest DirectX 11.1 and PCI Express 3.0 support. 8700M and 8800M will be mid-range and 8500M and 8600 low range GPU. AMD wasn’t ready yet to announce its high-end chips. In addition, the chip maker has launched its HD 8000 series desktop GPUs for desktop manufacturers. AMD has announced that new video card to make its way into Lenovo, Dell and many other systems to come in the next few months. Source
