4th-gen Intel Core processors can run you devices for a day long

3rd-gen Inter Core processors are a few months old but Intel don't hesitate at all to show the world its upcoming 4th generation Core series processors at CES 2013. The main highlights of the product is it can extend your portable device lifetime to 9 hours long. The new chipset (Formerly known as Haswell) is made with ultrabooks-slash-tablets in mind and could reach 13 hours of battery when docked to a keyboard. The device in question is codenamed North Cape and is a 10 mm slate with a standalone keyboard with battery. Intel achieves the extended battery life by reducing the power consumption from 10 watts to 7 watts. Another important thing is touchscreen will be mandatory for next-gen ultrabooks as well as WiDi wireless display technology. Thats a good news for the customers and Microsoft. Source
